Every year, EmpowerEd Hope reaches about 7% of everyone who lives in Hope.
Last year alone, we gave one-on-one support to 468 people.
When you give, you come alongside that work. You help a parent read a form, a senior book a doctor's appointment, or a newcomer feel less alone.
Your gift goes straight to the people who need it.
Volunteer
Our Community Volunteer Program connects volunteers with local organizations.
Volunteering is good for you! It can lower stress, lift your mood, and help you feel more connected to your community.
Volunteering provides an opportunity to earn additional credits or gain valueable work experience that aligns with your goals.

How is my donation used?
Your gift supports our programs directly. It helps us offer literacy support, education, and other services to the people who need them most.
Do you provide tax receipts?
Yes. EmpowerEd issues charitable tax receipts for donations over $20, and for smaller donations upon request.
We are unable to provide tax receipts for in-kind donations.
How do I become a volunteer?
We'd love to have you join our team!

Do I need experience to volunteer?
No experience is needed.
